ABOUT THE PROGRAM


The Diploma of Theology is an accelerated undergraduate program designed to strengthen biblical knowledge, Christian character, spiritual maturity, and practical ministry preparation. Students engage Scripture with intentionality while developing the theological understanding and ministry skills needed to serve effectively within the local church, community, and the Body of Christ.

Throughout the 18-week program, students will study the Person and work of Jesus Christ, biblical interpretation, Christian leadership, preaching and teaching, ministry conduct, pastoral care, Christian ordinances, and practical ministry service.

Rev. Dr. Mary Elizabeth LeSure, CPE is a pastor, educator, theologian, and ministry leader with extensive experience in Christian education, pastoral care, and leadership development. Her commitment to biblical truth and practical ministry preparation has shaped her work in equipping men and women for effective service in the Body of Christ.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Destiny of HOPE Bible College, Dr. LeSure provides academic and spiritual leadership with a focus on sound theological education, Christian character, and ministry readiness. Her educational background includes study in Child Development, Human Relations, Divinity, and Theology, along with certification as a Clinical Pastoral Educator. Her passion is to prepare students to know the Word, live the Word, and serve faithfully in the Kingdom of God.

What It Takes to Complete the Diploma

The Diploma of Theology is designed for students who are prepared to engage the program with consistency, academic discipline, and a commitment to Christian growth and ministry preparation.
60 CREDIT HOURS
Complete the required academic and ministry curriculum.
ACADEMIC STANDING
Maintain a minimum 2.7 (B-) grade point average.
COURSE PARTICIPATION
Complete required coursework, assignments, assessments, and program participation requirements.
CHAPEL & MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT
Participate in required Chapel Days and ministry-development experiences.
GRADUATION EXAMINATION
Successfully complete the Comprehensive Graduation Examination as part of the requirements for program completion.
