Program Description
This certificate program is designed to strengthen theological understanding while cultivating ministry readiness. Students will study the Books and Divisions of the Bible, explore The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and gain an understanding of Christian Rituals and Worship Practices. Rev. Dr. Mary Elizabeth LeSure is an accomplished pastor, educator, and theologian with extensive experience in ministry leadership and pastoral care. She currently serves as Pastor of Beverly and Salem United Methodist Churches in Oxford, Mississippi, and co-pastors alongside Elder Dr. Eddie Frank LeSure, Sr. in multiple ministries throughout Mississippi and Illinois.
As Presiding President of Destiny of Hope Bible College, Dr. LeSure is dedicated to equipping students through sound theological education and spiritual formation. Holding degrees in Child Development, Human Relations, Divinity, and Theology, as well as certification as a Clinical Pastoral Educator, she leads with excellence, compassion, and a heart to prepare ministers for Kingdom service.
